Every shipment includes $85 of base insurance at no extra cost. You can add optional coverage worth 5% of the declared value — worth considering for higher-value combo kits and professional-grade tools.
Insurance covers total loss of the shipment; it does not cover damage or partial loss of contents, which is why we pay close attention to how tools and battery packs are packed before they ever leave the warehouse.
